Our Studio Standard is the base model that all Backyard Studios evolve from. Proportioned at 12’x15′ with a 10′ covered front deck, The Standard starts the conversation of what can be done with a mere 180 square feet of space. The design revolves around an entry filled with glass, for light and the feeling of being open and airy. The flying roof detail creates a sense of cover and protection. The support beams are exposed for added ambience and its those added details that demarcate this as more of a dwelling, than a simple shed. We’ve added a bump out detail in the back that can fits a generous sized writing desk or reading nook. Plenty of wall space for decorations and artwork, high cathedral ceilings, and room enough for sitting areas and storage. The expansive front deck allows a welcoming entry, and a direct outdoor space that compliments the Studio’s residential feel. There are many options that can be added to fit your style and tastes, as well as heating and lighting options.

Designed to be used in all seasons, dedicated electrical service, a well insulated Studio can be conditioned and heated easily and efficiently, Each Studio is meant to be used all seasons.
