How do we price our studios…?
There are many variables that go into pricing an Artifex Design Studio. From the different material choices, like siding, trim and flooring, to the types of windows, doors and various options of building insulation, the overall price is tied to these particular choices the client makes.
With that said, the average cost for a standard Studio model is in the range of $225-$300 per square foot. Again, that depends on a number of factors, but this square foot pricing is a good starting point. For example, our Studio Standard model, is 180 sf, which would would range from $40k – $54k. The high end represents premium products like cedar shingle siding, spray foam insulation, wood flooring, triple paned windows & doors, composite decking, and a HVAC split system for air conditioning & heating. The low end number represents vinyl siding, pink batt insulation, vinyl flooring, pressure treated decking and a simpler air and heating solution. Both represent wall finishes and trim packages, with wiring, lighting and electrical service panel.
